It’s card game, it 8-bit, it’s Boss Monster and it’s cool. Cost me €23 (somewhere in Poland). Rules are pretty straightforward and you play as ‘bad’ character. Highly recommend 😉

Game known under English name Ribbit was an unexpected hit on latest Knavecon . I have organized special delivery of Polish edition (Pedzace Zolwie) to Ireland for fantastic €14.50 (including delivery). This game might look like a kids game (it is kids game) but when you change victory condition (just a little bit) you get one of the best super-fast, strategy game on the market 😉 Well, not really but it is good game anyway…
Race for the Galaxy
Again, make sure you have somebody to play before you buy this…ahh no, you can play this game online or with computer AI. Anyway, it’s great! Rules are easy, icons are complicated at first but after few games you get used to it. I would highly recommend to waste your money on Race for the Galaxy, it is worth it! My copy purchased from Board Game Guys – highly recommend those lads 😉
Star Wars the Card Game
Make sure you have somebody to play before you buy it as it is only 2-player game (future expansions will make it 3/4 player..apparently). It’s LCG so if you like it you will suffer financially. Core set is around 25 euro, Force Packs are 12-15 euro. Rules are easy (only 21 pages of questions on BGG rules forum 😉 ), graphics are excellent, my problem is that nobody wants to play it 😉

Very good iOS implementation of fantastic boardgame, this will cost you €5.99 and allows you to finish game in under 1 hr (unlike board version that can last for hours with some people)

Great family game, cheap (less than 25 euro if you have time to look for it, if not give me a shout), easy rules, tested with 7 year old. There is also Broad Peak expansion available which is on my wishlist.

Something for kids. Easy and fun to play. Tested on 3.5 yr old and almost 7 yr old. Only £10 on amazon.co.uk.
Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game
Your wife will hate you for buying this. It is expensive, looks like toys and you will need a lot of space to play it…and you need this Millennium Falcon. Core set cost around £20, expansion packs £10-15. All models owned by Thur Night Gaming members.
